Conflicts There are 3 main conflicts in the book Twilight. The first one is person VS fate. It this case it would be Bella VS her fate of meeting Edward. Once she meets him it brings her major mental and physical pain not to be around her. Yet over all it would have been better if they never met. Bella would be “Out of grave danger” as Edward says on page 347. Bella would be more involved with her other friends and family if it weren’t for Edward, but now since they are together they are going to stay together.
The next conflict is people VS person, or in other words Bella, Edward, and Edward’s family VS James. James craves Bella’s blood so much he is willing to kill anyone that comes in his way. This is a major conflict because not only will he harm Bella but also he will cause complications in Edward and Bella’s relationship. The last conflict is person VS self. For this case it would be Edward VS him self. Edward is so upset that Bella got hurt he blames it on him self. There is so much guilt in him for accidentally putting Bella in danger that he might leave Bella. After Bella tells Edward she needs him now he realizes that it wasn’t completely his flat. |
Somebody wanted but so Summary Edward wanted to keep Bella safe wile dating her, but James was to obsessed with her blood, so him and his family went on a huge hunt to kill James.
